He is a globally recognised expert in Power BI and Microsoft Fabric, invited to talk regularly at conferences/meetup groups on these topics and part of a small group of Microsoft Most Valuable Professionals (MVPs) - technical influencers/evangelists who get early access to product releases and who work closely with the development teams at Microsoft to provide feedback on product development.
He is also a Chartered Accountant and Executive MBA holder (Hons), having spent the last 2 decades working across the Big 4, Financial Services and currently Avanade (joint venture between Accenture and Microsoft). His role in Avanade is in the global Centre of Excellence focused on designing industry accelerators and go to market strategies for Microsoft Fabric.

Abu Bakar is a very experienced Data Analytics and Project Management Professional with over 25 years of industry experience. He has educational background as a Computer Engineer and did his MS from Sussex University in Satellite Communication and Space Systems.
With a demonstrated track record of leading multi-disciplinary teams and successfully completing challenging projects, he has a diverse background that includes embedded systems engineering, as well as the management of multi-million dollar projects in the Defense sector.
Since 2016, he has mainly focused on data consultancy and corporate training for local and international clients as a senior ICT professional specializing in Program Management, Data Analytics & Engineering, and Data Visualization.
He is an accomplished Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP) and a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute (PMI), USA. Additionally, he is a Microsoft Certified Trainer, Azure Data Engineer Associate, Data Analyst Associate for Power BI and Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate and Tableau Desktop Specialist.
Naveen has a strong background in financial and technical skills – graduated from the University of Reading / ICMA Centre and did his CFA afterwards.
He has over 20 years of experience in the finance industry and worked in several financial institutions such as ING Bank, Commerzbank, Friends life (now part of Aviva) and Columbia Threadneedle as well as Fitch Ratings.
He has worked intensively with MS Excel in the last two decades, including building financial models and in advanced data analysis. He has been working with Python and SQL in the last few years and applies this to financial modelling.
